Hand carved pipe?holder. Unusual design to this bowl. It is wood , carved, deep and on the inside bottom is a hand hammered piece of copper. The wood has a lot of grain to it and I believe it might have been made to hold a large pipe, but could have had another purpose. It is signed on the bottom with a carved signature, but I can not read it. It was probably purchased around 1962 in the Israel area of the world. The lady it was purchased from made a trip at that time and was given many gifts by the people in which this was one of them. 5 1/2 x 5 1/2""
