Hand woven Hawaiian Palm Basket

Hand made authentic Hawaiian basket made of palm leaves or fronds. This one is adorned with flowers on each side. The flowers are made of the palm as well. These type of baskets are made when the leaves are still green and then they they turn brown as they dry.

It measues 8 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/2" tall. The condition is good There are some splits on some of the points on the side. Then the inside looks a bit soiled.

( I found this basket in Alaska of all places on a hunt for native crafts!)
