We proudly offer for auction this Absolutely Stunning Rare Estate set of 16 Hand-Painted Limoges Square Gilded Corner Patterned Plates, Cups & Saucers. Each floral pattern has 4 hand-painted pieces and all are marked with the Haviland Green Factory stamp dating them to the 1880's. The 4 large Square corner plates carry the Charles Field Haviland  green underglaze stamp CFH/GDM of 1882. Pieces carrying this mark are considered some of the finest pieces ever produced in the Casseaux factory of Charles Field Haviland and Geraud Dufraisseix & Morel. The 8 other square plates carry the Haviland factory stamp H & Co/L dating them between 1876-1889. The 4 tea cups bear the Haviland stamp H&Co dating 1876-1876. All 16 pieces of whiteware were obviously Hand-Painted by the same artist or owner as a Snack/Dessert set. A beautiful example of the workmanship of the Haviland factories of this era.
