HJORTH Lightning Pliers Wrench Parrot Head Style

$55.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a very nice patented combination plier marked with an uneven maker stamp, but enough there to find record of a Wm. Hjorth & Co. to makers.  What can be seen of the name is "WM HJ.... JAME.... PAT.SEP...".  The maker's location is Jamestown NY and the patent date on the tool refers to patent 738,444, filed by A.W. Hjorth in 1902 and issued on September 8, 1903.  This pliers are very versatile and heavy duty.  Having a tack/nail puller, wire cutting slot and many optional teeth and jaw shape variations, (could quality as a plier/wrench).  Overall Good++ condition with no rust good heavy duty pivot and long handles for leverage.  These pliers measure 12.3" long overall.  We note one chip of steel off the parrot beak area, and a few minor teeth chips, no rust, no bent or abused, only minor dings and wear.  Very nicely made, the look and feel of quality!
