A huge and impressive antique, 19th century, silver plated brass, church sanctuary hanging vigil oil lamp. The massive bulbous form body, superb workmanship applied with three ormolu winged cherubs and foliate garlands with flower heads, bottom decorated with embossed and chased stylized leaves and finished with a large baluster form finial, bell shaped upper part of the lamp embossed and chased with leaves ensuite with the bottom. 


Condition: In good condition considering its age, showing the age and usage, minor scratches and indentations, lacking of the glass burner which was mounted on the top of the lamp and suspension chains.
