Original Art, Flowers in Vase Oil Painting signed S. Sewell '71.    Not sure if this the well know artist from Russia Svetlana Sewell.  

So what we have here is an expressionist  textured flowers in a vase.  The shading and blending the colors shows that this artist is a talented professional.   It in a 19" x 11" frame.

On the back paper it says that it was framed in Spokane Washington. Then in pencil it has a name with the last name being Sewell.. the first name is illegible.   The thing that is confusing is that it says it was painted in 1955.   Which contradicts what the signature says on the front. 

It is a lovely painting in excellent condition.
