Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Garniture Bowl and Vases

Our beautiful Meiji period (1868-1912) garniture includes centerpiece jardiniere and pair of vases decorated with exotic birds and insects on turquoise ground, each with bronze mounts fashioned as mythological beasts.  Jardiniere measures 11 in (28 cm) high and 16 in (41 cm) wide.

Each in good condition.  There are signs of solder repairs to the bronze rims of each vase.  Rust to the steel plate beneath the jardiniere.  Scratches, scuffs and rubbing wear to the gilt surfaces.
