Our client's large, antique jade exhibition screen attributed to the Tsuda family, 21 1/4 in, 54 cm, is decorated with malachite, abalone shell, enamel, coral, lapis lazuli, pearl and other hardstones. It depictsa lakeside with figures in boats, colorful blooming flowers in the foreground, figures, pagoda and bridge and a rocky outcropping in the distance.

晴天澄秀峯池邊映
水淺遊魚群鳥競啼
百花笑芳香研競せ
美妓道採船有情趣
涼風醉如水影靜歸
translates to:
Clear skies, clear skies, Hidemine pond reflections, water waves, fish flocks and birds competing, hundreds of flowers, smiles, and aromatic research competing, beautiful geisha and ship selection, cool breeze drinking water, shadows, and serenity.
