Meissen Porcelain Allegorical Ewer After J.J. Kandler

Our wonderful porcelain ewer from Meisen dating from the late 19th to early 20th century with decorations allegorical of water measures 26 inches tall and is in good condition.  

Fashioned with a scrolling handle formed as ribbon-tied aquatic leaves surmounted by a putto, with neck painted with dragonflies and other insects and the body molded with a fleet of war ships between a figure of a mermaid and hippocampi with Neptune above, and the base with two dolphins among bulrushes.

In good condition.  There is a loss to the fish in the lower right.  Two horses are missing hoofs and three horse have chip losses to the ears.  There is a chip to the mermaid's tail and chip loss to the handle.
