J & P Coats Victorian Thread monument card. This is a very unusual card from a exhibit featuring this monument made of 80,264 spools of Coats thread. It says the old stone mill at Newport. The back of the card has a poem by H. W. Longfellow entitled The Skeleton in Armor. Card is probably from late 1800's. 3 3/4 x 5 1/2" a little discoloration from age, but I still consider this mint condition
