Japanese Banko Pottery Vase  c.  1900 to 1920's.  The inset is a tea house  with a large tree in the foreground.  The vase is in very good condition  and a scenic motif in relief featuring an inset house with a large tree spreading over the outer center of the vase. There is a "MADE IN JAPAN" stamp in the base of the vase.   The vase measures 5 inches tall, approximately 3 3/4" across the middle, with a base measurement of 2 1/2". There are no cracks or chips on this item.   The bown drip glaze is uneven especially so around the foot ring but that is the charm of this very old pottery style.
