Vintage Japanese Porcelain Teapot in Padded Cozy Basket. This teapot was hand decorated in Hong Kong and fits snugly into its storage cozy basket. It has a double bale handle that is wrapped in a rattan like material. The red fabric lined interior of the basket features flowers.. The teapot has dragon on one sid and on the other side a tail motif. it is circa 1950's or 60's
The teapot measures 6 1/2" tall to the top of the removable lid. It measures approximately 6 7/8" wide from the opposite end to the tip of the spout. The basket measures 7 5/8" tall and the round top has a diameter of 9 5/8". The unboxed wight is 3lbs 10 oz.
It is marked underneath with ther circular "Japanese A.C.F. Porcelain Ware" mark and "Decorated in Hong Kong"
The Condition is very with no chips, cracks or repairs to the teapot. Althought the teapot is stained with tea. The basket is in excellent condition as well, with no damage to the interior or exterior. No tears or stains to the interior fabric. Very well taken care of.
