Japanese signal Flag fan. I was told this was from WWII and was a signal flag from the Japanese. It is cardboard with a brass screw and nut that holds them together and red silk material that form the fan. It has some soil (mostly on the outside of fan) but otherwise excellent. See photos. No rips or tears and cardboard doesn't appear to have any bends. Aprox 8 x 15""
