Our client's gilt bronze sculpture after Jean Antoine Injalbert (1845-1933) is known as Amour aux Colombes or Love with Birds.  It measures 22 1/2 by 14 1/4 by 11 inches (57.1 by 36.2 by 28 cm) and is in good condition.  May have been regilt. There are scattered signs of verdigris visible near the feet and embedded in crevices in the rear, plus scratches and a handful of stains visible on arms, wings, torso and legs. Variation to the patina to the insides of the birds.

The original debuted at the Exposition Universelle of 1889.
