Our client's bronze entitled La Pensee (The Flower) after Jean-Baptiste Germain (1841-1910) was cast by Barbedienne in the late nineteenth century.  Signed in the cast and impressed with the Barbedienne hallmark, and with brass nameplate added at base.  Mounted on red marble pedestal and measuring 29 inches in height.
