Jockey on Racehorse ( Jockey a Cheval ) Bronze After Pierre Jules Mene
Our fine casting of Jockey a Cheval after Pierre Jules Mene (1810-1879) measures an impressive 20 inches tall, and features a dark brown patina with cold-painted red decorating the helmet and boots of the rider. It has some age, as evidenced by scratches and rubbing wear to the paint, and is believed to date from the third or fourth quarter of the twentieth century. Apparently unsigned with no foundry mark, its origin is uknown. Our price is firm.
