This is a quality made washer or gasket cutter, for cutting round washers. It's marked "WM. JOHNSON NEWARK N.J." very clearly on the end that is made to fit your brace. It measure 3.5" wide closed, .75 is the smallest distance from centerline, 3.1" maximum from center. This is the nicest one of these cutters that I've seen by this maker. Very nice, very sharp, ready to use!
