This shaker is not only decorative, it is quite functional as well. The raised writing on the front says "Grandms'a Special Spice". The bottom has the maker and country of origin on it. It also has a date of 1970. It also has the original store price tag on the bottom. The tag is from Walter Jennings/Denison. (Texas) This was an old dry goods type store that is no longer in business. The lid appears to be original, but hat a dent on the edge. The jar itself is in excellent condition. It measures aprox. 5" H.X3" across the bottom. There is another identical shaker on my site, except for the color. It is a beautiful green.
