Talk about "DejaVu"! I had a set of these in the 70's, only mine were cream colored with a colorful fruit decoration. The canisters themselves are in good condition, a few minor surface scratches, but not bad. But, these have the same problem mine did. If you shoved the lids down too hard, you would split the sides if the lids. Three of these have those splits. But, the lids still sit well on the canisters and look good. They were never "airtight" and are definately not now, but would hold packaged things like candy, individual snacks, etc. They range in size from 8"X4 1/2" for the two tall ones to 3 1/2"X4 1/2" for the short ones.
