Kremetz Gold & Pearl Pin

Is is marked Krementz and there is some other marking that I cannot make out. Could be an indication of the gold content. The setting tests positive for 14k gold on an acid test. The pin back is obviously not. I do know that the Krementz is known to be experts for the highest quality 14k rolled gold overlay so the layers of gold may be thick enough to test positive. Since it is such a dainty piece I do not want to be gouging into the surface to get to the base metal. However it does not matter a whole lot whether it is sold 14k or not. It is still a lovely piece by a well known and highly respected jewelery maker and designer, Krementz .

The pearl is real.

It measures 3/4” approximately. The condition is excellent.
