Large 1940's or 50's vase/lamp base. Green with gold lines and polka dots. Very stately elegant lamp base. This has one small hole in the center (1/2"") that would make a perfect vase for feathers, balloons or any thin tall item. It would hold a heavy item such as a small tabletop. Very arts and crafts design, handpainted, nice quality. Mint condition. This orginally would have held a torquier type lamp. 16 x 5 1/2"" Probably made in Italy but not marked. It is heavy ceramic.
