Our large wooden dresser box (apparently crafted from mahogany) in the manner of André-Charles Boulle (1642-1732), cabinet maker to Louis XIV, features brass strapwork and gilt bronze mounts including cherub masks, foliate shaped handles and animal paw feet measures an impressive 19.5 by 15.75 by 7 inches.  With original key and working lock and in good condition.  Apprently unsigned.  There is a long crack to the drawer and an abrasion on the outside of the drawer on one side.  There is some separation to the frame of the box noticeable at the corners, plus scratches, oxidation and rubbing wear throughout. Red felt lining to the top compartments is heavily worn.
