Large Framed Behind glass Oil Painting on Paper by Ben Ely entitled "The Pool". I would say that this is an impressionist style. Although I am not an art critic by any means. It could be expressionism. If you study the painting you will see a woman and I think I see a child as well. The painting is 23" x 18".

It is framed behind glass. There is a fabric mat and the rustic wood frame looks to be old barn wood that has worn light green paint. The frame is 31" x 36 1/2".

The condition is very good. The painting is sagging a bit. I needs to have new back on it to keep it firm against the glass. As already stated the frame is rustic.

There is an entry card on the back identifying the artist as Ben Ely a proffessioan arist from Wyoming.
