Latin American Convent or Church Ruins Oil Painting on Canvas Framed . . It appears that the scene is of ruins of a 17 century convent from Guatemala. But I cannot say for sure. The canvas is unsigned. It is bright and colorful with the red tile roofs and white washed building against the blue sky . I can see why an artist would be inspired to capture this scene in a tipica , primitive painting. . The canvas is 8" x 10" and the carved wooded frame that is 15" x 13".
