Our finely cast model of a greyhound by Alfred Dubucand (1828-1894) measures 10 by 3 by 7.5 inches and is in very good condition.

Dubucand studied under the famous Animalier sculptor Barye and debuted at the Paris Salon of 1867 with a wax model of a dead pheasant.  He exhibited regularly through 1883.
