Li'l Abner Cream of Wheat Ad 1942 This is a May 25, 1942 advertisement It is a nice 1/2 page color ad from Cream of Wheat. It is written in cartoon form by Al Capp and features Li'l Abner and Daisy Mae. Daisy Mae and a pig are on the top of a small building, like a dog house, being swept away in the water towards suicide falls and is rescued by Li'l Abner after he eats his Cream of Wheat. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 5 1/2"" wide by 14"" tall.
