This is a nice clean vintage 6" rule marked C - 2204R COMPLIMENTS OF THE STERLING DIE CO..  So it was made by Lufkin Rule Co. for the purpose of advertising gifts for Sterling. It is a chrome finish rule in very good shape, only a few tiny specks of staining here and there.
