Lux Laundry Soap and Gene Tierney Ad 1951 This is a May 1951 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Lever Brothers makers of Lux. Has a nice picture of actress Gene Tierney starring tin On the Riviera. She is wearing a dress that has a red top and the skirt is plaid and a plaid scarf that goes over the shoulders. She says, Now Lux works like magic on my prints. The colors fairly sing. I have never seen anything like it. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/4 inches wide by 11 1/4 inches tall.
