 This Cow and Cat cookie jar is a McCoy Test Piece from the 1940's.  Test pieces almost always contain numerous factory flaws. They are often made  for  the factory itself  to see what corrections need to be made.  Others are made as special promotional items to see if the item will be popular enough to market to the general public. I suspect this was made for the factory to test it's mold/equipment as it has several flaws including several rough patches and some tiny air bubbles. There are two very old chips that are not factory flaws. One is one the ear of the cat and the other is on the cows left horn.   The bottom is marked V1 10 or V/ 10. Please look at photos carefully before purchasing.
