This wonderful oil painting by the French painter, Tony Agostini (1916-1990), is believed to date from the 1950s or 1960s. Depicted are a bowl of fruit and pitcher with flowers. Stretcher measures 26" by 21.25 and frame measures 31.5" by 27" by 1.5". Condition is very good. There is some craquelure and minor losses, and the colors are vibrant. It resides in a period giltwood frame with linen matte. Dimensions: 27" H X 31.5" W X 1.5" D (68.6cm H X 80.0cm W X 3.8cm D). ( dantiques modern abstract )
