Millers Falls No. 188A Spiral Push Drill w/5 Bits

$55.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice clean, unique Spiral push drill marked MILLERS FALLS CO. GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. 188A. It features 8 compartments on an rotary index in the handle that have a total of 5 different sized drills in them (from 3/32"-11/64"). In this style push drill the end cap turns to allow the numbered drill size to be removed or put back into the storage compartment. Each compartment is number from 1-8., and the end cap has a lock position, with no hole so the drill points don't fall out during use. Of the 5 different sizes of drills included with this push drill, all in very good used to new condition, all have the 4 notches that the 4 jaw chuck fits into on one end. The push drill is quite nice with about 95% of the nickel plating intact on the steel, the rest is very nicely polished aluminum finish, a few very minor scratches, a very good spring and spiral hardware, works great. Basically much like the North Brothers Yankee push drill in function, a few ounces heavier, and is 9.8" long overall. This push drill uses different bits than the Yankee style drill bits uses, as they have a different shank configuration and size. This one has a industrial plastic type fluted handle area the is surrounded by metal, so it's in very good condition, no cracks, nice finish. Works great, with a good spring and good working screw chuck. A Nice clean tool!
