This is a nice clean quality made egg beater type single speed hand drill marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. GREENFIELD MASS MADE IN U.S.A.", on the crank handle steel section. This one is 14 1/2" long overall, and has a 3/8"; diameter chuck capacity. The handles are hardwood with a rosewood type stain, and still in very nice condition, snug fitting, a good amount of finish intact. Overall the paint is about 90% intact overall. The gears and all the spindles are in great shape. The end handle is hollow and has a threaded cap, in good condition. A place to store your drills if you wish, there is a several good drills included (you can use standard straight round shank drills with this tool). The chuck on this style drill is 3 jaw type, spring loaded jaws, so the jaws spread open automatically when opening the chuck. A good solid tool, ready to use or display! One of the cleanest we have seen!
