Millers Falls Push Drill No. 185C w/8 Drills Yankee

Quantity available: 1

This is a nice clean, 99% like new, vintage used spiral push drill marked "MILLER FALLS CO. GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 185C" near the end cap. It has the same type screw chuck that the older North Brothers push drills had, and in fact it is designed to hold the "YANKEE" style, spiral drills in the chuck. This one has a set of eight (8 different sizes) that store in the handle, and fit in the chuck also. This model features the black molded rotary end cap that turn to allow for the drill bits in the storage holes in the handle to be removed or replaced.  All 8 drill spaces are filled, and the drills are in new condition, sharp and ready to use. The nickel plating is over 99% intact on this push drill, about 99% like new. A very nice tool overall. There is a Millers Falls original box included.  The box label says No. 185A, but this push drill is a No. 185C, please take note of that.  The No. 185A had the all metal handle end cap, the C model is molded black industrial plastic. The box is fairly solid, it has some ink marker writing on it, but the label is in decent shape. I do have some replacement drill points for this style push drill available for sale, if you should need extras. A very rare push drill with the screw type chuck, and in such nice shape too! A very well made tool!
