Large Medieval Wall relief Spanish Conquistador Sculpture portrait Man cave art

Unavailable

The very large and heavy wall relief is of a Spanish Conquistador who looks a lot like Francisco de Orellana. He completed the first known navigation of the entire length of the Amazon River, which initially was named "Rio de Orellana." He also founded the city of Guayaquil in what is now Ecuador. The work on his one-piece hemispherical bowl with a point helmet and collar armor of small overlapping plates is really detailed and his eyes look so REAL. This is large (27" x 20" 10") and has darkened beautifully with age. THere is a hook on the back to hang him but he also rests well against a table or dresser.  This is signed Modern art Co underneath his armor.  What better way to give a gift than something unique and vintage. Here is  something for the men or women that have everything!  This would be a great idea because it is Vintage and not something you can buy everyday. OR perhaps just a perfect addition to a collection.
