Our client's amazing pair of Italian Venetian campana-form floor torchiere vases from the early to mid 20th century feature extraordinary surfaces of beaded and faceted crystal glass in various shapes and sizes, and measure an impressive 62.5 in (159 cm) and 31.5 in (80 cm) across. Each with internal sockets of European standard that light the vases from within.  For other examples of this model, see lot 401 of Sotheby's sale in New York on December 8, 2011 containing a pair which closed at $152,500, and lot 94 of Christie's sale in London on March 6, 2014 which closed at 98,500 GBP ($164,909).
