MOTAHEDEH

Unavailable
Motahedeh Chinese Export Style Shrimp Dish with Fish measuring 8" X 8 1/2". This is a pattern of Motahedeh that we have not seen before apparently we don't know as much about chinese export porcelain as we thought. It is a reproduction of a chinese export service that was made in the chien lung dynasty C.1750-1760. This piece was part of a complete dinner service that the heirs sold us a platter and the shrimp dish. The 18th century dinner set is in the Dallas Museum of Art and is part of the Wendy & Emory Reeves Collection. The reproduction pieces were sold out of the Dallas Museum Gift Shop as are many of Motahedeh tobacco leaf that we have bought have come out of the New Your Metropolitan Museum of Art Gift Shop.
