Mounds and Almond Joy Taste The Difference Ad 1951 This is a May 8, 1951 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Peter Paul Inc of Naugatuck, Conn. On a nice chocolaty background is a picture frame. In this frame are some flowers and a half of a fresh coconut. Also pictured is a wrapped bar of Almond Joy and Mounds. They also show them unwrapped, ends missing so that you can see the yummy coconut inside. Reads, Taste the difference in this finer, fresher candy. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
