Our finely cast patinated bronze plaque depicting Napoleon on horseback crossing the Alps, after the famous painting by Jacques-Louis David is mounted in a gilt bronze frame with acanthus leaf motif and surmounted by French imperial eagle holding oak and laurel leaf branches in its talons.  Foundry is unknown.
