National Lead Bearing The Load Ad 1945 This is a November 24, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from National Lead company of NY Ad shows two trains on snowy tracks. Engineer waving to two people waving back. Ad reads, Bearing the load, from Mainliner to Caboose. The sleek Diesel electric locomotive shows turns up the power of 4000 horses. 'To carry the load of nearly foot thick drive shafts, giant bearing are needed. These special Diesel bearings are made by National Lead. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
