Hand made native Moorish basket bowl using esparto grass with a herringbone braid rim. This basket is originally from Morocco. The design is very similar to the Hopi basketry. There is talk that there may have been an influence somehow eons ago. It is very sturdy basket in excellent condition. It is very large and can be put to practical use or hung on the wall.
