The blade has a broad tapering double-edged shape with a flattened central rib flanked by two shallow fullers, making it perfect for thrusting and cutting. The blade extends into a rectangular-section tang with a "hooked" terminal at the end for easy attachment to a handle or shaft.

MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 23 cm (9.6 inches)
CONDITION: This antique combat bronze spear is in excellent condition despite being over 3500 years old. There are no cracks or repairs needed, and the surface is covered by its natural green patina and earth encrustation. There are a few nicks on the blade's edges, which clearly indicate that the blade was used in combat.
PROVENANCE: Ex Private old Canadian collection of antiques and antiquities formed in the 1980s.
