Here is another Historic item for your Americana Collection.  A 1797 Peace and Friendship oval medal that was made in 1881.  These were made mainly for collectors and traders.  This is the Copper/Bronze mix that came out Dark Chocolate which shows it to be made before 1904 when the tan version came out.  These were Stamped by the U.S. Mint and although the Sea-Green ones are the most sought after, this is also highly coveted.  The last one I saw at auction sold for $900, but I want it to go to a good home and will offer it at $750.  This is in Museum quality condition and the chain is original to piece and has a nice patina on it.
