An interesting necklace that I believe is some sort of heraldic reproduction piece. It is made of a type of chain link that has been used for many years to make bracelets that have semi precious stones and minerals glued to the small square surfaces. This particular chain is a copper color. The shield shaped pendent is cast from a sort of rough gray metal. If you like to do renaisance reanactment or the sort, this might be a good piece for that. It is also just plain neat to wear with a pair of jeans and leather! The chain is approx. 30" and the shield is approx. 2 1/2"X2 1/4".
