New Departure Coaster Bike Brakes All Aboard Ad 1928 This is a July 1928 advertisement It is a nice black and white ad from New Departure Manufacturing Co of Bristol, Conn. Ad shows a man standing beside his bike and looking out over a lake. Small sailboat by the edge of the water. Ad reads All Aboard. Ad says, great stuff, going sailing. If you think you cant sail because you live to far away from the water thats bunk, I live about five miles away and I ride my bike that has the new smooth acting coaster brake and that makes riding easier.
