Nickolas Muray (1892-1965) was active 1904-1965. Originally an engraver, he became a photographer who specialized in portraits and later fashion for such magazines as Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair. Paul Getty Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Metropolitan Museum of Art, others.
