Henry Disston D-8 Rip Hand-Saw 26 inch

$45.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a very nice 26" long blade, 5-1/2 point rip hand-saw with good solid hardwood handle. It is marked "DISSTON  *USA" on the brass medallion on the handle. Nice clean applewood handle with some wear, solid, not cracked, not chipped, just a few minor scratches and small edge dings, and some staining. The brass hardware appears to be lightly tarnished and in good working condition. The blade is about 98% straight, very near perfect cutting condtion, very sharp, with light staining, not rusty, no missing teeth, about 98% sharpness. We note that there is some minor pitting on most all blade surfaces but the blade has been clean, polished and tested, cut just fine.  A very good quality saw from the mid-1900's era. A nice clean old saw in good, sharp, useable condition!
