Antique 18th-century Armenian fine silver filigree Reliquary Cross pendant, constructed like a box to hold a relic.
The cross consists of various separate elements entirely crafted from intricate fine silver filigree wirework, twisted and soldered with exceptional precision. It features a pattern of scrolling foliate and pearl-shaped knobs.
The face's center is adorned with a red faceted paste jewel, while the opposite side's center is adorned with a faceted blue paste jewel. Each arm of the cross is designed with a large, twisted scroll.
It is equipped with a suspension ring at the top.
The chain consists of very unique double-looped links, each of which is soldered.

MEASUREMENTS:
The dimensions of the cross-including loop are 7.5 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm (2.95 x 2.17 x 0.98 inches).
Chain's length (folded): 32.5 cm (12.8 inches).
Total weight: 74 grams.

CONDITION: In very good, original, untouched condition, for over 200 years old, silver filigree cross. It shows signs of age and use, including the absence of one small pearl-shaped knob at the bottom of the central bar. No repairs or restorations.
