A very unusual silver-mounted antique 19th-century Southeast Asian, Burmese, or Thai dagger (Dha, Daab, Dah). 
The scarce type blade is hand-forged from Damascus steel with an excellent quality watered pattern.
The blade is sturdy, tapered, and double-edged, with a waving (flamboyant) form reminiscent of the Indonesian keris–kris.
The hilt of a rare form features an ornate solid silver guard engraved with intricate scrolls and a three-stage tubular grip made of solid silver with engraved rings. It is topped with a large tiger tooth pommel.

MEASUREMENTS:
Overall length: 24 cm (9.45 inches).

CONDITION: In very good condition. It shows its age and use.
