Or Best OfferA pair of antique, 19th century, Islamic Turkish Ottoman stirrups of characteristic form. They are made of brass and have a curved base plate flanked by flat sides that rise to an arch and finish with a loop. The stirrups are decorated in openwork with typical Ottoman neo-rococo style motifs. The base plate is cut in an elaborate cartouche surrounded by acanthus scrolls.
DIMENSIONS: Approximately. Length: 16 cm (6.3 inches). Width: 11.5 cm (4.53 inches). Height: 14 cm (5.51 inches).
