Authentic antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox brass traveling icon "The Mother of Good Joy of All Who Sorrows." The central figure is the Virgin Mary holding a warder in her right hand, with groups of people on either side. At the top is an image of Jesus Christ as the King of Kings.

 

MEASUREMENTS: 6.3 x 5.2 cm (2.48 x 2.05 inches)

 

CONDITION: in good condition considering its age, with a lovely old patina.
